The roll grinder on-line measurement system mainly feeds back the measured data to the roll grinder control system in real time. The control system sends the corresponding closed-loop control command to the roll grinder machine tool to realize the precise management and scientific control of the whole rolling mill production process.

Generally, the structure of roll grinder mainly includes two types: the moving structure of worktable and the moving structure of grinding wheel frame. When the actual diameter of the polished workpiece of the roll grinder is less than 630 mm, the table moving structure mode can be used to arrange the roll grinder; When the actual diameter of the workpiece to be ground is about 630 mm, the roller grinder should be arranged in the form of moving structure of grinding wheel frame. At the same time, the structure of the roll grinder should also be equipped with corresponding turning carriage and other special parts to ensure the smooth processing of the leading process of the roll grinder.
